Jubilee College of Music Enters into Midterms

October 25, 2005

Faculty and students prepare diligently for midterms for the fall semester of 2005. Practice rooms have never been so busy and hallways ring with the echo of piano pieces and the voices of tutors and students. Each test session marks the development of a greater level in music theory and practice for students around the globe.

International student Jungho, who has been formally trained in piano for most of his life, is currently pursuing a degree on the Olivet University offline campus in San Francisco, California, to gain a firm theological foundation in worship music.

During this tense week of midterms, Jungho shares, "Everyday, I am able to feel the grace of God because He is always trying to raise the level of every student in Jubilee College of Music to be able to express more beautiful praise in spirit and in truth. I've always dreaded midterms and finals in the previous schools I have attended, but now my heart has changed. Learning about the joy that praise and music brings to God, I have a deeper desire to serve God through what he has given me. Now, every midterm that I take feels like a great stepping-stone towards a career to lead many others to worship God."

More than "just another" mid-term session for the students and faculty of Jubilee College of Music offline campus in San Francisco, many students are taking this opportunity to prepare for the great Christmas gathering. Students registered online internationally are able to participate and watch the performances of fellow students from every nation and language through Internet broadcasting, bearing witness to the work of the Holy Spirit everywhere.
