Students from Olivet University experienced the annual event by Macworld at San Francisco's Moscone Center last week, meeting with developers, attending workshops, and walking through the exhibits. The event showcased the latest trends, apps, and developments for Apple devices and Mac computers.
Participants attended the main opening session where panelists discussed the state of Apple's technology. Several other panels featured discussions and demonstrations from industry professionals. In the Expo Hall, companies and developers showed off products and services at their booths. Various workshops offered tips on using Keynote 6, utilizing iPad for business, and iPhone photography.
Favorites among the students included the Photo and Video workflows discussion, managing mobile life with devices, using iCloud, creative user workflows, and iPhone photography. University reps also had the opportunity to attend the Educator’s Meetup and iPads in Education discussions. The session focused on empowering educators through the use of technology and iOS devices, such as the iPad, for growth and productivity.
