Olivet administrators and faculty members gathered at the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville, California August 10-11 for the University's annual Leadership Retreat. The retreat was co-presided by University President Dr. David James Randolph and Dean of Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) Dr. William Lyle Wagner.

On Tuesday, August 29, at 5:00 p.m., Olivet University marked the beginning of the 2006-2007 Academic Year with Opening Convocation 2006. The Convocation is an occasion for parents, faculty, student leaders, and members of the administration and governing board to welcome new scholars into the community.
It is an honor and joy to accept the Presidency of Olivet University. I begin with Thanksgiving: Thanks to Dr. David Jang, our inspiring first President, now Chancellor, who founded Olivet in line with Jesus' Great Commission to communicate-teach, preach, baptize (Matthew 28); Thanks to Dr. William Wagner who will see that we truly go to all the world.
Although Fall semester classes are not yet in session, it's still learning season at Olivet University. The school has offered an array of on-campus activities and programs for students led by experienced faculty and staff. The goal of this year's summer lineup is to build and refresh student competencies in a variety of fields.
