Continuing a cherished tradition of leaving behind a living legacy, the graduating Class of 2026 at Olivet University has presented a new olive tree as its senior class gift.
Olivet University welcomed Dr. Titus Yu, a veteran business leader and ministry founder from Hong Kong, for a special lecture titled “Earn More Than Money,” where he challenged students to see their future careers not only as a means of financial success, but as a platform for mission, evangelism, and service.
Students and staff from Olivet University were invited to participate in a special Sunday worship service at Anza Baptist Church, strengthening fellowship between the university and the local church community.

Students and staff from Olivet University recently joined community members at a vibrant fundraising event hosted by local KOYT radio station, strengthening ties between the university and the surrounding region.
Students from Olivet University joined community members from Idyllwild, Hemet, Anza, and surrounding mountain areas for a dynamic Earth Day event hosted by Pathfinder Ranch in Mountain Center, California. The gathering provided Olivet students with an opportunity to actively support environmental outreach while engaging with local families through service and education.
Olivet University’s extension site in Washington, D.C. will offer two courses for the Spring 2026 term: Old Testament III and Pastoral Ministry, providing students with both biblical depth and practical ministry training.

Olivet University Riverside campus welcomed Pastor Matthew Nevills, Senior Pastor of Anza Baptist Church, as the guest speaker for its Wednesday service. Nevills preached from Philemon 1:17 to 22 and delivered a message titled “The Lord Is Teaching and Training Us to Become Good Slaves.”
Olivet University students and guests gathered this week to hear from Dr. Nathan Adams, a former leading counsel for the Christian Legal Society. With extensive experience practicing before federal courts across the country, Dr. Adams offered an encouraging reflection on faith, calling, and professional service.
After a brief hiatus, the Anza Community Thanksgiving Dinner made a joyful return in 2025, bringing together nearly 200 local residents for a warm holiday meal served at the Anza Community Hall. The revived tradition was made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers, including members of Living Hope Christian Fellowship and students and staff from Olivet University Riverside.
