Olivet School of Art and Design (OSAD) offered a Master's degree course "History of Graphic Design" in the Winter quarter. The course is designed to provide aspiring designers with a deep understanding of the historical roots of their profession.
Olivet University's Commencement Ceremony 2022 is scheduled to be held on Friday, June 24 at Riverside main campus. In preparation for the event, Olivet School of Art and Design (OSAD) faculty and students are collaborating with the University's Design Center in preparing designs for the stage, venue decoration, and memorabilia.
Professor Zimou Tan, Associate Dean of Olivet School of Art and Design, served for a second time as the Artist-in-Residence at the 75th Annual Meeting of the Association for Biblical Higher Education in Orlando, Florida. Professor Tan took part during the event at Olivet University's premiere sponsor booth and drew great interest from attendees.
Olivet University Riverside campus Design Club hosted a special seminar on visual media in the first week of the Winter quarter. Professor Ezra Park introduced the basics of photography, video editing, and 3D modeling.
Olivet School of Art and Design (OSAD) San Francisco campus offered project-based learning for its 'Corporate Identity' course this quarter. Students were able to practice through the entire creative process in a simulated business environment to produce actual publishable work.
Olivet School of Art and Design (OSAD) will host a digital drawing workshop in the Summer quarter. The workshop is open to all, for current students and prospective students interested in taking a sample class at OSAD.
