Olivet University is pleased to support the Anza Valley community through a recent donation of more than 700 children’s books to the Friends of Anza Library, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the Anza Valley Community Library.
The call to repentance in the New Testament reveals the transformative power of the cross, the moment in which humanity becomes aware that it has resisted and rejected divine love as revealed in Christ. Repentance, in this context, is not merely an ethical correction or moral reform but a profound recognition of humanity’s participation in the suffering and rejection of the incarnate Word. Yet within this recognition, divine mercy is disclosed. The site of ultimate sin becomes the locus of ultimate grace, as the reality of human estrangement is met by the unmerited compassion of God.
The Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies' 2025 Doctoral Colloquium held at Olivet University San Francisco Campus was successfully concluded on October 20. The two-week colloquium was held from October 6 to October 17 with doctoral students from all over the globe.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — At Olivet University’s Riverside campus, Professor Taegil Ha’s Introduction to Information Technology class offered more than a technical exploration of generative artificial intelligence (AI). It became a space for young Christian students to thoughtfully consider the ethical and spiritual dimensions of technology.
Olivet University has begun its Fall Sermon Series, a quarterly event that invites local Anza pastors to preach during the university’s Wednesday services. The event seeks to bring together college students and the broader Anza church community for evenings of worship, teaching, and fellowship. The public is welcome to attend each service, fostering unity among local believers.
The Anza community gathered in faith and song for the quarterly “Prayer and Praise in the Park” event, held at Minor Park in Anza, California. The evening brought together local churches and worship teams for a time of praise, prayer, and fellowship under the open sky.
Olivet University marked the beginning of a new academic year 2025-2026 with a joyful convocation at the Riverside campus on Friday, September 19, dedicating the year to the Lord with prayer and worship. Uniting new and returning students along with faculty and leaders both onsite and online, the gathering sounded the trumpet for a new season.
Olivet University officially launched the 2025–2026 academic year with convocation ceremonies held across its campuses in San Francisco, St. Louis, and Orlando. These gatherings brought together students, faculty, local community leaders, and ministry partners to dedicate the new academic season to the Lord through worship, prayer, and reflection.

Olivet University was honored to join with local Christian churches in Anza for an inspiring evening of worship at the “Prayer and Praise in the Park” event, held at Minor Park. Worship teams from Living Hope Christian Fellowship, Anza Valley Christian Fellowship, Anza Valley Gospel Church, and Olivet University led the community in heartfelt praise and worship under the open sky.
Each year, it has become a meaningful tradition for the graduating class to present a special gift to Olivet University — a token of their appreciation, and a way to leave behind a lasting legacy.
Olivet University marked a significant milestone with its 2025 Commencement Ceremony, held on June 24 at the Riverside campus. This year’s event was especially meaningful as it included the first cohort of second-generation students from the Olivet community. Among them was Sungil Bae, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology graduate, who also delivered the student address on behalf of the Class of 2025.
The Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies successfully concluded a week-long series of oral defense sessions for the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Program, marking the culmination of the 2024–25 academic year.
