OU IT center is currently planning to launch a new version of MyOlivet. The online system will provide logins for students, faculty, and administrators to do everything from checking grades to planning courses. The upgraded is slated to become available in Fall 2006. The following is a list of feature enhancements.
Students can now:
· Use a class planner
· Find contact information for participating classmates
· Receive online academic counseling
· Use a GPA Calculator
· View grades in an online Gradebook
· Make reservations for Orientation
· Sign-up for workshops
Faculty and administrators can now:
· Use links to class websites
· Use our richly featured WebMail client
· Receive/send targeted notices
· View & download class rosters
· Email entire class roster
· Use an online Gradebook
The university is soliciting feedback about the MyOlivet system from current users. Users can participate by logging into their MyOlivet account and sending comments as directed.
