Jubilee College of Music Prepares for Fall Event

October 21, 2006

The Olivet University community can look forward to some special festivities this fall being prepared by the Jubilee College of Music.

Now teaching his second semester of vocal ensemble performance, Dr. Merril Smoak, Dean of the Jubilee College of Music, is planning to hold a series of musical performances throughout the fall semester.  The events, some of which will be the first of their kind at Olivet University, has already stirred much excitement at the San Francisco campus.

"The atmosphere has definitely changed at Olivet because of this semester's ensemble course – there's a lot of joy, I think" says music administrator Emily Ko.  "Each semester it's great to be able to see JCM offering more and more opportunities for His praise to be heard on and beyond the campus."

Notices for this semester's events are scheduled to be posted soon.
