Students participate in missions conference

February 20, 2007

San Francisco, Calif. - Olivet University students and staff joined over 200 members of the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (GGBTS) community for its annual Missions Conference from February 16-17. The aim of the yearly conference is to provide current and potential mission workers with a more thorough understanding of the spiritual dimension of missions.

This year's theme "Night is Coming" drew mission leaders from across the country interested in exploring topics in mission and eschatology. Olivet students and staff members attended the mission conference, which included worship services and prayer meetings interspersed with lectures and seminars on Golden Gate's Northern California campus, nearby San Francisco.

Pastoral leaders, missionaries, and professors, including Director of Middle East Missions Dr. Joseph Ray Tallman were among the guests at the conference.
