OCAD is currently creating a step-by-step plan for developing the drawing studio facilities with better materials. New drawing tools and easels have been set up to assist student learning in perspective, foreshortening, and spatial issues as they learn how to see.
"I have been able to learn and develop a higher and greater artistic sense during the class. Through the skills I am learning, and I hope to apply it towards future design courses and for future projects for missions. I hope to glorify the Lord through these works," said OCAD student Mazda Rosalya, who used the new facilities in the "Introduction to Drawing" course.
At least one OCAD faculty, Professor Alice Park, said she plans on utilizing the updated facility for her courses and hopes that the facilities will allow more fundamental illustration sections to be incorporated into the curriculum.
