New Year is a time for fresh beginning – and final projects. Olivet College of Art & Design held its committee panel review for graduating students this week, along with review panels from the Journalism, IT, and Design colleges.
OCAD students presented their final projects before the panel for critique, discussion, and approval for passing the program. The panel consisted of faculty and professionals in the design field invited to attend the review.
This year’s presentations showcasing web, media, and print artwork. Following the review, fourth year student Lisa Cui, who presented an identity project, said "This experience was an great opportunity to see where I stand among industry standards."
Each year OCAD students are required to demonstrate their final projects and give a professional presentation of their developmental process. Within the presentations, students present research findings, user interface concepts, and how their project can benefit society or Christian ministries.
