The Jubilee College of Music (JCM) hosted its semester-end recital at the University’s chapel. This was JCM’s fifth piano recital and first joint concert with BREATHE Academy San Francisco, an affiliated ministry of Olivet University.
Both JCM and BREATHE Academy students displayed their musical talents each playing diversely composed pieces. The program included piano solos and duets ranging from classical to contemporary genres. The concert was followed by a reception where the performers and audience members celebrated the successful concert.
JCM professor Jade Cho commented on the event. “It was very meaningful time both for the students, who enjoyed the stage experience, and their family, friends, and faculty. I hope that JCM and Breathe Academy’s’ collaboration may continue to further develop music opportunities to our students,” said Cho.
The next piano recital is scheduled for the end of spring semester 2011.
