Dr. Tom Cowley's book, A Biography of Jesus, will be transformed into a film series.
Dr. Cowley, director of Olivet University's Doctor of Ministry program, wrote the study guide to help people order, understand and remember the life of Jesus.
A Biography of Jesus will be filmed in four 28-minute segments, with each part focusing on a location theme: Nazareth, Capernaum, Judea/Perea, Jerusalem. The program "myBibleBasics" will be released in Chicago and San Francisco in August to Christian TV audiences.
"I am excited concerning the reception of my book," Cowley expressed.
In addition to A Biography of Jesus, Dr. Cowley also published Remember the Heart of the Bible, in which he creates a framework for understanding the whole Bible while emphasizing the message of God's love.
The filming will be Tuesday, June 19 in the Bay Area.
