Leaders from Olivet University were invited to be an honored part of Kabarak University's annual commencement. Dr. William Wagner, Dr. Ray Tallman and Professor Dr. Tony Sargent were invited to attend the graduation ceremony of Karabak in Kenya, East Africa.
Over two thousand were in attendance at the commencement with many coming from their native areas of Kenya and wearing traditional native dresses from the region. Olivet's Dr. Tony Sargent delivered the commencement address.
Karabak University has an ongoing partnership with Olivet. Theology books were presented to the provost of Karabak University as a donation from Olivet University. Karabak University was founded and is still led by the former President of Kenya Daniel Moi.
