President Tracy Davis invited Olivet University to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
In a message to the Olivet University community, she encouraged everyone to view his "I Have a Dream" speech.
"In this speech, Dr. Martin Luther King challenged Americans to embrace the country's Christian roots, and live out what it means to be under the Lordship of Our Savior Jesus Christ," she said.
"While we recognize its significance, it’s also important to recognize that Dr. King's influence is much greater than his "I Have a Dream" speech and has been felt around the world, including here at Olivet."
