Theology

Intense Week Planned for Systematic Theology

May 31, 2013

Olivet Theological College and Seminary (OTCS) begins a two-week intensive course on Systematic Theology with Dr. James Sawyer at Olivet University's San Francisco campus. The course is the first part of the Systematic Theology in which the professor throws light on Christian doctrines such as the doctrine of God, Christology, and Trinity.

"The course is very challenging and it allows us to think deeply from the various view points," said one of the students after attending the third day lecture. "I am able to find myself one with theology."

Dr. Sawyer has taught Theology, Church History, and Historical Theology for over twenty-five years. He currently serves as the Director for Sacred Saga ministries and is the author of various books including "The Survivor's Guide to Theology" and co-editor of the book "Who's Afraid of the Holy Spirit."  Dr. Sawyer earned his Ph.D. and Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX.
