Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) have some new faces in the faculty roster this fall quarter, including Rev. Dr. Susan Bubbers, who started to teach Spiritual Formation to the seminary students.
Dr. Bubbers started teaching the intensive course on Monday at Olivet University's campus in San Francisco. The course will focus on integrating Biblical and theological study with practical exercises for the students to foster Christian maturity.
"The class was very graceful. It was like a fresh new start for me for this fall," said one OTCS student. "It was very engaging and I especially liked the meditation exercise."
The Spiritual Formation course will lay a very important foundation for students' spiritual maturity and forming a deeper relationship with God. OTCS Program Director, Jonathan Park, said he is pleased to have Dr. Bubbers to teach the course.
Dr. Bubbers is the founder and the Dean of the Center for Anglican Theology in Orlando, Fla, where she designs, oversees, and teaches courses in the areas of Biblical studies, theology, liturgy, and spiritual formation. Dr. Bubbers received Ph.D. from London School of Theology, D.Min. from Reformed Theological Seminary, D.A.S. from Virginia Theological Seminary, M.Div. from Regent University, and B.S. in Computer Science from University of Central Florida.
