Spring: A Time To Plant at OTCS

March 27, 2015

Spring is considered one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.  Spring is the season of life and recovery.  Spring is the season of farming and labor.  Spring is the season planted with hope of reap.

The Bible tells us that there is a time to be born,  and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted.

As God gives us this life and beautiful season, it is worth reflecting on our thanksgiving and gratitude to the creator. As the preacher told us, remember your Creator in the days of your youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1) And also we need to keep in mind, there is time God will take all these away, the Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. (Job 1:21)

It is great wisdom to walk with the seasons of God.  Spring is the time of planting.

In our earthly life as we have strength to work, we should work for the food which endures to eternal life, (John 6:27)

Christian are the citizens of heaven, and there is our eternal home, and there is our harvest.

So, in this beautiful season, let's take the heart of thankful gratitude to God, with identification that we are his people.  Let’s plant our hope for this year and for our eternal life in making the efforts to sow what we should sow.

Those who shed tears as they plant will shout for joy when they reap the harvest. (Psalm 126:5)
