OTCS Adds More Curriculum Selections for Fall

August 20, 2015

Olivet Theological College & Seminary, OTCS, has added more courses to its curriculum for the coming Fall quarter. There are 12 updated theological courses, which are available for students from other Schools such as Information Technology, Music, Art & Design, Media & Communication as well as the Business school.

Pentaeuch and Pauline Epistle are added to current lineup with plans to balance mission with theology teaching and increase the students' learning experience. The Pauline Epistles course stresses the key cultural, historical, doctrinal, and practical themes based primarily upon the New Testaments letters written under his name. The class will emphasize how to apply Paul's teachings to the pastoral necessities of the churches of the past and of today.

The Pentateuch course looks at the contents and theology of the first five books of the Bible. This course will look at the people, geography, and history of the times to gain a better understanding of God’s pattern for dealing with man through covenant.

"With the upgraded teaching system and curriculum, I really appreciate OTCS faculty and staff for their hard work. I believe it will mutually benefit teachers and students in improving their academics," said OTCS Dean Dr. Matthias Gebhardt.

OTCS has always been striving to provide high-level academic courses and encourage students to develop their full potential, both in and out of the classroom. Visit otcs.olivetuniversity.edu for more information.
