Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies held oral exams earlier this month at Olivet University’s San Francisco campus.
Doctor of Ministry candidates from California, New York and South Korea presented their oral defenses with their mentors present.
Some of the dissertation research topics presented included a study on the World Evangelical Alliance with an emphasis on Christian unity, a guide for reporters to produce news with a global mission perspective, and a guidebook for Christ-centered worship.
“The D.Min. projects were generally of excellent content,” said Dr. Tom Cowley, director of the D.Min. program. “They all demand continued refinement and broad use within Christian circles.”
The candidates’ oral defenses were reviewed by the Doctoral Committee who asked questions and offered suggestions for the completion of the candidates’ dissertations.
