Olivet University welcomed over 50 people from the local community to its Riverside County campus for Open House on Saturday.
Many of the visitors — which included those from nearby churches, families of OU faculty and local journalists —expressed their excitement about OU now being a part of their community.
Matthias Gebhardt, dean of Olivet Theological College & Seminary, commented, “I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome from our neighbors in Anza. Many of them have prayed for years that God would use this campus, and I am grateful for their prayers. I hope that we can contribute to what makes Anza special, and build great friendships here.”
Visitors enjoyed tours of the school’s facilities, much of which has been renovated, and the natural landscape of the 888-acre property in Anza, California.
Olivet University began conducting classes in Anza in Fall of 2014.
