Zimou Tan, associate dean and faculty member of Olivet School of Art & Design, was featured in the monthly President’s newsletter of Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
This newsletter covered Olivet University being part of the ABHE member development and their partnership to further strengthen biblical higher education. . Tan, an award winning artist, will be drawing a limited number of portraits for the 2018 ABHE Annual Meeting as Artist in Residence.
Zimou Tan’s most recent award was the International Artist Magazine 2016 Grand Prize for his 16X20 portrait “Grandma”. Tan has received worldwide recognition for his talent, having been featured on the front page of the Marin Independent Journal in 2013, chosen as one of 50 artists who impacted China in 2009, and in “Strokes of Genius 4 - The Best of Drawing”, a book by Rachel Rubin Wolf in 2012.
