Olivet Institute of Technology opened its Computer Vision course for the spring quarter. Which is a subsequence course in the artificial intelligence track after machine learning.
The Computer Vision course runs intensive lab session to help students implement real world artificial intelligence into computer vision using Tensorflow and Torch.
OIT students participated in the session and implemented artificial intelligence for object detections for photos, neural style transfer (transfer photo into famous paintings), super resolution on low resolution photos, human face recognition, and video analytics and behavior detections.
These technologies can be utilized in areas such as self-driving car, smart video surveillance and smart photo editing. These experiences offered students practical knowledge of cutting-edge development of artificial intelligence that is a growing trend in today’s IT scene.
