Though it is summer vacation, many Olivet University students are choosing to take this time as an opportunity to further equip themselves through academic studies. Olivet Business School (OBS) students who enrolled in this summer’s MBA Marketing Management course are giving positive feedback.
The comprehensive course helps students develop strategies and planning for product or services. Areas that the course teaches include advertising, promotions, and sales to reach out desired customer segments. Students are learning about advanced theories as well as applications through real world business examples, illustrations, case studies, and group exercises.
"The more I study the Marketing Management course, the more closely I find it is related to the work I did previously. From the course I learnt how to identify customers' needs, promote products, and attract customers to return. It's a very practical course where I'm learning how to apply things immediately," shared Olivet Business student Paul Zhang.
Other positive feedback from students include how the course is really guiding them to think more on how to promote products and enhance customer experience. As students value the approach of using marketing management tools to increase customer base, it would lead to improved customer satisfaction and the company's overall perceived value.
