Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) at Riverside main campus kicks off the 2019 Winter quarter with new capstone courses such as "Mission and Discipleship" and "Studies in Romans."
"Mission and Discipleship" is an advanced capstone course for students who have completed at least 90 credits of the 136-unit Master of Divinity program. It focuses on integrating key aspects of seminary education with Christian ministry to prepare graduating students for vocational ministry. Typically, students enrolled in this course will have opportunities for outreach in major U.S. cities through partnering with local churches.
For this quarter, main campus students will collaborate with Pilgrim Church in Los Angeles, CA. They will be sent out in teams to do community outreach and bible teaching.
The "Studies in Romans" course, on the other hand, will introduce an in-depth study of Apostle Paul's letters. It aims to help students preach Christian doctrines with confidence and make Christ known.
The combination of the two courses will prepare students to outreach powerfully and deliver the words of God boldly.
