The 2019 Doctoral Colloquium for the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies will be held at Olivet University's San Francisco Campus in Mill Valley, CA. Approximately 50 Ph.D. and D.Min. students from all over the globe will attend the event from October 14 to 25.
This annual colloquium aims to enhance students' skills in application-based research for ministry and focuses on advancing the knowledge base of a discipline through academic study and writing.
During the doctoral colloquium, renowned professors will deliver lectures on various topics such as global theological foundations, global missiology, spiritual autobiography and others. Doctoral students will have the opportunity to expand their theological understanding and application to the ministries.
Along with lectures, this doctoral colloquium will also place a special emphasis on a cohort-oriented model where doctoral students proceed through the courses necessary for their emphasis with a small group along with their ministry track leaders and mentors.
Through a series of activities with distinguished professors, track leaders, and mentors worldwide, the participants could expect a rewarding learning experience at this year's colloquium.
