Jubilee College of Music (JCM) students attended the 17th anniversary of Jubilee World. The Anniversary was held in the Grand Orpheum Theatre in St. Louis, MO on July 10th, 2019.
The anniversary was held for three days which included various events such as Grand Orpheum Theatre dedication service, anniversary service, concerts, performances, and conferences. Jubilee World music ministers from all over the world participated in the event.
Students from the Jubilee College of Music participated in the anniversary through various stage performances such as choral devotion, a capella, instrumental praise, and dance. Members of Jubilee Orchestra, Jubilee Youth, Jubilee Dance and Jubilee Chorus participated in the anniversary and gave special performances as well.
JCM students had an opportunity to tour the campus and the newly dedicated theatre with the other participants.
"It was a very great opportunity for JCM students to meet music ministers all over the globe and exchange conversations to understand the needs of the field," said Emily Ko, the Associate Dean of Jubilee College of Music.
"The students were able to visualize the greater vision of JCM and were encouraged to pray to plant Music School in St. Louis as well," added Ko.
Reflecting on the anniversary, one of the students shared, "through the fellowships in the gathering, I was able to communicate a lot with the music ministers all over the globe and was able to expand my vision for music ministry. I hope to spend the rest of my time in JCM remembering the experiences I have heard and train myself to fit the needs of the field."
The students also visited popular tourist spots in the city such as the Gateway Arch, Art Museum, and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
