Olivet School of Art and Design (OSAD) plans to collaborate with Christian artist fellowship Creatio to host a series of online workshops on digital art.
OSAD faculty have sent out invitations to established artists to participate as guest speakers for the workshop series. Each workshop will include a short demo of creative techniques along with the artist sharing his journey to professionalism and current industry practices. The first two workshops in the series will introduce students to 3D environment building and digital painting, both topics have a wide range of applications in commercial arts.
"Many graphic design students have shown interest in other areas of commercial arts so this workshop series will definitely be a very exciting learning opportunity for them," said the event coordinator.
Details of the workshop series will soon be available on the OSAD website.
